Learn Korean: 같이 + Verb

Let’s take a look at the Korean sentence pattern 같이 + Verb. We use this to express the adverb together as in Let’s go together and We slept together. 같이 can be used in various types of sentences and is normally placed right before the verb. The examples above in Korean are 같이 가자 and 우리 같이 잤어. To emphasize who with, we say the noun combined with (). For example 나랑 같이 놀아 (Play with me).


나랑 같이 볼래?

Do you want to watch it with me?


아빠랑 같이 갔어요.

He went together with dad.


같이 먹자.

Let’s eat together.
