Learn Korean: Noun + 또 있냐
Let's take a look at the Korean sentence pattern Noun + 또 있냐(?). This pattern is often used in question form to tell someone that nobody else does something (for him or her) than the speaker himself. Though, he is asking, it actually carries the nuance nobody else but me. Thus, a rhetorical question. For example, you are calling your friend at 3 in the morning which you usually do. But without looking who the caller is, she answers the phone and asks who is this? At this moment, you can use this pattern to say that nobody else would call her at this time of the day, but you. To complete the pattern, conjugate the verb into its present form (는) or future form (ㄹ/을). The verb should be followed a noun which usually refers to a person- 사람, 남자, 여자, 놈, etc.
나 말고 그런 거 보낼 놈이 또 있나?
Who else would send you stuff like that?
널 잘 챙겨주는 남자가 또 있어?
Who else treats you better than I do?
너에 대해서 잘 아는 사람이 또 있어?
Who else know you better than me?
