Learn Korean: Noun + 관심
Let's take a look at the Korean sentence pattern Noun + 관심. 관심 means interest and we use this to express what we are interested in, people or things. For example, we say I am interested in women and I am interested in history. The main nouns are 여자 (women) and 역사 (history) respectively. We attach 한테 to person-nouns and 에 to non-person nouns. 여자 becomes 여자한테 and 역사 becomes 역사에. We can also use 에게 in place of 한테, but it is more common in writing or speech. Then, we add 관심이 있다. The actual sentences are (저는) 여자한테 관심이 있어(요) and (저는) 역사에 관심이 있어(요). Aside from 있다, we can use 없다 to express that we are not interested and 많다 to express that we are very interested.
